Autumn Kaiseki Menu starts September 1st 2024
Although some days remain hot and humid from the summer, the silver grass waving from the cool breeze makes me feel autumn.
Our Japanese kaiseki meals will also change to a menu reflecting the flavors of autumn.
Introducing our recommended dishes from the “Autumn Japanese Kaiseki Set” which is available from September 1.
Autumn hors d’oeuvres – Served with Deluxe Kaiseki Dinner, Exclusive Kaiseki Dinner & Crab Kaiseki Dinner
The seasonal persimmon and sesame flavored tofu paste salad, which is gentle on the palate, and Pumpkin Tofu made with soft and flaky sweet Nanjing are just some of the appetizers that are suitable to start the kaiseki.
Matsumaezuke, a local Hokkaido dish of marinated scallops with herring roe and is a great dish to accompany your drink of choice.
Autumn favorite Salmon TEMPURA – Served with Deluxe Kaiseki Dinner & Exclusive Kaiseki Dinner only at fine dining Kaiseki restaurant ‘Yunosato’
Fluffy deep-fried autumn salmon is served with sweet chestnuts and sweet potato with grated radish sauce.
A perennial Autumn favourite freshly prepared in the ‘Yunosato’ kitchen.
Hokkaido TOKACHI beef grill with miso and leaf flavors – Served with Exclusive Kaiseki Dinner
TOKACHI Wagyu beef is raised in the long hours of sunlight and vast farmland of Tokachi, Hokkaido.
The aroma of the dried magnolia leaves and the sweet well-marbled combine is so delicious that it melts in your mouth.
Please enjoy it with miso paste.
Matsutake mushroom steamed rice – Served with Deluxe Kaiseki Dinner & Exclusive Kaiseki Dinner
Matsutake mushrooms and Nanatsuboshi rice harvested in Hokkaido are cooked at your table.
Enjoy taste of matsutake mushroom and also the unique aroma.
