  • Notice of Garden Opening

    We have opened our courtyard to the public from April 14, 2026.
    The beautiful blooming flowers and the sound of the waterfall that symbolizes the Takimotokan will bring you a pleasant healing experience.

  • Notice of the implementation of the Hokkaido Accommodation Tax

    Accommodation Tax for guests staying in Hokkaido introduced from April 1, 2026.
    *Please note: in addition to the accommodation tax, spa tax will also be charged.

  • Regarding the Use of Mobile Batteries

    In recent years, incidents of mobile batteries emitting smoke or catching fire have been reported both in Japan and abroad.
    To ensure a safe and comfortable stay for all guests, we kindly ask for your cooperation regarding the use of mobile batteries in guest rooms.
    ■ When Leaving the Room
    Please refrain from charging mobile batteries when you are away from your room.
    ■ Locations to Avoid
    When charging a device from a mobile battery, or charging a mobile battery using the room’s power outlet, please avoid the following locations:

    Areas exposed to direct sunlight
    On beds, sheets, curtains, or other flammable materials

    During charging, please ensure the device is placed where you can check its condition at all times.
    ■ Safety Measures
    If the above situations are found during room cleaning, or if urgent safety concerns arise, our staff may stop the charging or move the mobile battery to another location for safety reasons.
    We appreciate your understanding in advance.

  • February 28: The evening discount ends for 1 Day Spa

    As of February 28, 2026, the evening discount for 1 day spa will end.
    There will be no change to our business hours.

  • Annual Maintenance Closure 2026

    All buildings in Takimotokan will be closed 6 – 13 April 2026 (Monday to Monday) for our annual checks and maintenance.
    We will also be closed to Day Visitors on 6 – 14 April.
    Due to power outage work in the entire building on the 7th, we will not be able to respond to phone calls, faxes, or e-mails.
    We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

  • Change in the charge for dog guest

    Starting from February 20, 2025, the admission fee for dogs will be changed to 5,500 yen (tax included) per dog. Along with this, we’re introducing new doggy amenities, so please take a moment to check the details here.
    If you made your reservation before January 19, 2025, the admission fee will remain 3,300 yen (tax included) per dog. Doggy amenities are not included, but they can be added for an additional 2,200 yen (tax included). Please let us know if you’d like to include them during your stay.
