The monthly lunch special at Restaurant Poplar at Takimoto Inn, Dai-ichi Takimotokan’s sister hotel, is a perfect meal for the cold days of February.

Rib Roast Steak (Using Processed Beef) with Special Tomato Sauce

Tender beef served with home-made tomato puree is sure to warm and delight winter visitors. The tomato puree combines all the best of winter flavors to perfect pair with the juicy meat and the medley of vegetables presented in a piping hot skillet. Served with rice or bread, soup and salad for 1,200 yen, including tax.

Smoked Salmon and Roe Spaghetti in Cream Sauce

A rich and creamy dish with delicious smoked salmon garnished with salmon roe, we love how this dish offers a taste of Hokkaido’s sea and land alike. The roe topping gives the dish a festive appearance while also deepening the flavor. Served with soup and salad for 1,000 yen, including tax.
