It is hard to believe it is the last full week of May. Golden Week seems only a short time ago. In June, we will begin our summer menus, so we thought we would take a moment to look back on some of the lovely moments of this past season.

A Golden Warlord visited us for Children’s Day, and many children enjoyed the new stamp rally very much. There were so many smiles, and we hope to see them again during our Summer Festival. Even more staff will join forces to make it especially fun!

Cherry blossoms began blooming about one week earlier than usual at Noboribetsu Onsen this year. They were perfectly timed with the holidays this year, and surely were a very special highlight for visitors.

A favorite surprise is along the road as it leaves Noboribetsu East Interchange and heads for the onsen. Lined with cherry trees, our guests ride along what we like to call the ‘cherry blossom tunnel’. During Golden Week, only 60-70% of the trees were flowering, but now they are in full bloom. It is a really wonderful surprise for those who get to experience it for the first time.

Flowers always make a person’s heart happy.

Please come and join us for a stay or a day trip to Dai-ichi Takimotokan to enjoy the bath, and then stroll over to Jigokudani Nanakamado Square to see the lovely flowers there. We are sure our courtyard flowers will soon join in the chorus of color. Every season is beautiful, though!
