Introducing Our In-Room Dining Menus for Summer!
In late May, Hokkaido had a record heat wave. Even in Noboribetsu Onsen, it felt summer rather than May. At the moment, our weather has returned to normal with slightly chilly mornings and evenings. Soon, though, summer will come to stay.
In anticipation of the new season, Dai-ichi Takimotokan will be serving the following menu from June 1 until August 31 to help keep guests cool in the warm days ahead.
This season, our themes are Deluxe Mealand Takimoto Gozen. Each one uses Hokkaido produce to create delicious results. We will introduce our recommended dishes from each plan.
We will begin with the Deluxe Room Meal Plan.
Here is our recommendation for the Deluxe Meal Plan.
Tokachi Herbed Beef Hot Pot
This dish uses our drinking water spring (sodium spring) as the base. It is named Aisai (Beloved Wife) in honor of the loving relationship between our founder, Kinzo Takimoto, and his wife. Please enjoy tender pieces of Tokachi beef, one of the finest raised in Hokkaido, along with 17 kinds of herbs and the rich aroma of sea urchin. Please reserve the room plan called Deluxe Table.
Next, we would like to introduce the recommended dish from the In-room Takimoto Gozen.
Here is another recommended dish from Takimoto Gyoen.
Baked Ezo Sea Urchin Topped with Abalone
The flavor of the abalone and the rich fragrance of the sea urchin are fully entwined in this dish. Each enhances the other to create a powerful and unique taste of Hokkaido. Please reserve the Takimoto Gozen plan to enjoy this northern delight.
There are many other wonderful dishes made from Hokkaido ingredients that we would love to share with you. Please take a look at the plans we offer and choose your favorite. We hope you will come enjoy the delights of a Hokkaido summer with us!
