We’re open again from 19 June

We are very pleased and excited to announce Takimotokan will re-open to guests on Friday 19 June. With the end of the national State of Emergency, we look forward to doing what has come naturally to us for over 160 years, providing relaxing stays to rejuvenate the body and spirit in the Heart of Hokkaido.

For the re-opening we will introduce our summer kaiseki menus which showcase the finest seasonal Hokkaido produce from land and sea. Summer is a great time to enjoy the lush greens and cooler and drier Hokkaido climate, with the long days and refreshing outdoors. Of course, for the ultimate in relaxing, Takimotokan’s The Grand Bath, the largest in Hokkaido with 5 source springs feeding 35 baths, is open 24 hours a day.

During the close down we continued to refine our training and guest services. We also put in place health and safety guidelines in keeping with the Hokkaido Government’s ‘New Hokkaido Style’, which focuses on 7 key steps for maintaining hygiene and social distancing to ensure the peace of mind of guests and staff.

We look forward to seeing and sharing the best of Noboribetsu Onsen and the Heart of Hokkaido with you soon.
