Since the Takimoto Summer Festival began on July 30th, there has been more excitement than usual here at Dai-ichi Takimotokan. One very special part of that is the Hokkai Ideyu Daiko performances.

Those who know us well know of our longstanding relationship with this drumming group. Every Saturday throughout the year, the group performs for our guests, but during the Takimoto Summer Festival they play daily as part of our seasonal celebration.

As you can see in the photos, a number of guests gathered to enjoy the unique sound and feeling these magnificent drums and their drummers inspire. Come join us and feel the heartbeat of summer for yourself!
