If you’ve read our previous series on demons in Hell Valley, you’ll know that there are 11 demon spots around Noboribetsu. But perhaps the best demon of all is the one inside our very own Dai-ichi Takimotokan.

Takimaru-kun is our very own mascot, who has made himself at home in Dai-ichi Takimotokan. His parents sent him out into the human world because they were so angry with his mischief making. He is 157 demon years old – but just 5 if he was human. He likes hot springs, onsen-manju, festivals, and mischief, which is why he gets on so well with the kids that visit Dai-ichi Takimotokan.

Having discovered Onsen Heaven in Dai-ichi Takimotokan he won’t be leaving anytime soon.
