The hot cake features the most popular person here at Dai-ichi Takimotokan – Takimaru-kun!

It is impossible not to smile when you see that sweet face outlined in powdered sugar on top of the thick, golden brown hot cake. Served with Hokkaido’s special soft-serve ice cream brand, Shiroi Koibito, the thick cake is surprisingly light and deliciously melts in your mouth.

For those with a wee bit of a sweet tooth, a small amount of maple syrup is a lovely touch, too!
