The breaking news from Noboribetsu Onsen in Hokkaido is that the Takimaru-kun plush toy has arrived! Come see this wonderful new Dai-ichi Takimotokan souvenir.

One of the prizes in our UFO Catcher game in the arcade area in the main building is a plush toy of our very own Takimaru-kun.

Over the years, many people have asked if it is possible to get a larger version to take home as a souvenir or gift. We thought this was a great idea, and finally it is a reality!

On May 28, Dai-ichi Takimotokan began selling a larger size plush toy in our gift shop, Yunomachi.

Please note, though, that the mini-Takimaru-kun is still only available as a prize in the UFO catcher game.

The new plush toy is about 40cm tall, 25cm wide, making it larger than the UFO catcher prize. A staff member is holding the UFO catcher prize version on the right size to help show the difference. The new plush toy is 2,916 yen including tax.

We think this new toy is a great way to commemorate your stay or to give as a souvenir for your children or grandchildren. We look forward to introducing you to it when you visit us in Hokkaido and Yunomachi!
