The Christmas Fair Has Begun!
We are very excited to announce that the Christmas Fair has started at Dai-ichi Takimotokan!
At the buffet, we overheard customers in line for the Christmas menu saying how delighted they were to have a first taste of the holiday season.
Our chef’s special recommendation is the Hokkaido Cream Stew. It uses plenty of Noboribetsu milk from Hokkaido-raised cows, and lots of local, seasonal vegetables.
We also think the Steamed Shrimp in Cream Sauce and Fluffy Egg Whites is particularly nice. The steamed egg whites have a gentle texture that blends well with the shrimp and cream sauce. It is rarely tasted at home, so we recommend you sample it at this very special time of year.
Of course, we also have an extensive selection of cakes!
To add to the festive feeling, we also offer glasses of sparkling wine, Yellowglen Vintage Pinot Noir Chardonnay, part of their Botanics series, along with Mio, a sparkling sake. Both are available only for a limited time, so please don’t miss this chance!
During the Christmas Fair, there is also fun to be had in our gift shop, Yunomachi.
This adorable postcard is a gift to all customers who purchase something there. The Santa Takimaru version is for Christmas, and Takimaru on a spinning top will make a lovely New Year’s card. You can choose whichever version you like. Both are really cute, so good luck trying to decide!
The Christmas Fair runs from November 25 until Christmas Day, December 25.
