The Spring Festival Begins!
The Spring Festival is now underway!
From now until May 31, we will offer special menu in Yunosato, our buffet restaurant here at Dai-ichi Takimotokan. There is also a special Takimaru picture postcard available with a purchase from our gift shop, Yunomachi, too! (Please check here for more information. However, please know there is a limited supply of postcards.)
The Spring Menu at our buffet showcases the colors of spring – cheerful green and the lovely pink of sakura (cherry blossoms) – to inspire an appetite for this time of year. One of our favorites is the soramame (broad bean) soup, a delicious seasonal favorite.
Other dishes include sea bream and bamboo shoots cooked in rice and asari (clam) and nanohana (rape blossoms) pasta.
The sweets corner also has a rich variety of colors and tastes. Surely, there is something for everyone’s sweet tooth!

Over the course of the past few years, our restaurant staff have studied to become wine and sake/shochu sommeliers. They put together a menu of some of their favorites for this season. Try them and see what you think!
The list includes an umeshu (plum wine) cocktail, a glass of Rose d’Anju, a glass of Sakura Shiranami shochu, and a Strawberry Yogurt drink, too.
The drink menu is, of course, available to order on its own, but the meal plan also comes with these drinks. Please take a look and reserve today!
