The Spring Festival is now underway!<\/p>\n

From now until May 31, we will offer special menu in Yunosato, our buffet restaurant here at Dai-ichi Takimotokan. There is also a special Takimaru picture postcard available with a purchase from our gift shop, Yunomachi, too! (Please check here for more information<\/a>. However, please know there is a limited supply of postcards.)<\/p>\n

The Spring Menu at our buffet showcases the colors of spring \u2013 cheerful green and the lovely pink of sakura<\/em> (cherry blossoms) \u2013 to inspire an appetite for this time of year. One of our favorites is the soramame<\/em> (broad bean) soup, a delicious seasonal favorite.<\/p>\n

Other dishes include sea bream and bamboo shoots cooked in rice and asari<\/em> (clam) and nanohana<\/em> (rape blossoms) pasta.<\/p>\n

The sweets corner also has a rich variety of colors and tastes. Surely, there is something for everyone\u2019s sweet tooth!<\/p>\n

We also have a series of recommended drinks for our Spring Festival Menu.<\/p>\n

Over the course of the past few years, our restaurant staff have studied to become wine and sake\/shochu sommeliers. They put together a menu of some of their favorites for this season. Try them and see what you think!<\/p>\n

The list includes an umeshu (plum wine) cocktail, a glass of Rose d\u2019Anju, a glass of Sakura Shiranami shochu, and a Strawberry Yogurt drink, too.<\/p>\n

The drink menu is, of course, available to order on its own, but the meal plan also comes with these drinks. Please take a look and reserve today<\/a>!<\/p>\n
