The Noboribetsu Onsen Yu Festival, sponsored by the Noboribetsu International Tourism and Convention Association.<\/p>\n<p>The festival is to show our gratitude for the Yu or hot water that makes Noboribetsu Onsen such a wonderful place. The abundant, high quality water is truly fantastic, and by showing our gratitude, we also extend our wish that the water continue to flow to keep us all healthy and happy.<\/p>\n<p>At the festival, as in the photo above, men gather outside in the extreme cold and gather buckets of hot water across from Dai-ichi Takimotokan.
