The Ookanabo (demon’s club) is an icon at Takimoto
Located in an arcade in the Main Building, the gilded Ookanbo is 9 meters high and weighs 10 tons. At regular intervals, it transforms into a 3D mechatronic display that captivates young and old alike with its story of Momotaro, the “peach boy” of Japanese legend, and his encounter with demons.
Okanabo performance has ended as of April 10, 2023. The dolls are on display at the “Okanabo History Gallery” in front of the Grand Bath building. Please enjoy it with the video of mechanical performance.
