Little by little it is getting warmer in Noboribetsu Onsen. Fukinoto (giant butterbur), a mountain vegetable, has just begun to sprout in the natural places near Dai-ichi Takimotokan. Soon, we may be able to put on our spring clothes here in Hokkaido.

This will be the last spring of the Heisei Era, and we have some new construction underway. We are working on the south building and have made a few changes. However, never fear! We will still hold the Takimaru Stamp Rally! It is a great chance to visit all the different booths set up in the hall during our Children’s Festival celebration with its many attractions.

Also, during this time, our drum group, Hokkai Ideyu Daiko, will be performing. Please come see them!
