Snow has finally arrived here in Noboribetsu Onsen.

The snow silvered everything all around from early morning onward.

Above is the geyser in the park opposite our hotel, and you can see the white snow on the shoulders of the demon statue.

This blue demon sits next to nearby Yuzawa Shrine, and he is also surrounded by a fine layer of snow. And speaking of Noboribetsu Onsen, here is Jigokudani with a beautiful decoration of snow!

The snow melted a little bit because the weather eventually turned sunny, but the mountain is turning white. Some of our guests who left this same morning saw how special it was and many took happy pictures commemorating this special event.

It will melt more and disappear, but it will come again and again until winter finally arrives in its full glory. It is wonderful, but we remind everyone who is coming to bring warm clothes. Also, if you are coming by car, please pay careful attention to the condition of the roads.
