June Lunch: Shrimp vs. Beef

A fresh wind is blowing, and summer is in the air. Visitors strolling the streets of Noboribetsu Onsen look happy and refreshed with its touch.

We have one suggestion to keep everyone feeling energized as they return from roaming the nearby shops or visiting the paths through the park nearby: our June lunch specials!

We are especially excited to present a new shrimp ramen from the long-established ramen shop, Aji Jiman, at Dai-ichi Takimotokan.

It is as tasty as it is striking in appearance. Our ramen chef took full advantage of the shrimp flavor, resulting in a refreshing bowl of ramen that is naturally salty. It is worth noting, too, that the five shrimp can be eaten as sashimi on the side. They are easily peeled, and we recommend savoring every part of them to enjoy this very special dish.

At Takimoto Inn, we are featuring Braised Beef in Balsamic Sauce.

The balsamic sauce is rich and sweet and matches the tender beef perfectly as well as the coming season. Walnut oil and a myoga (Japanese ginger) marinade help tighten and smooth the flavor of this mouth-watering dish.

The question now, though, is how to choose? Shrimp ramen or braised beef?

Keep in mind, though, that both can be enjoyed with the Yu-Lunch Ticket. (See below for details.)

That, at least, offers some relief!
