Winter Travel Amenities

We just finished an exciting redesign of the amenities we offer guests in each of our rooms.

Waiting for each of our guests is a basket of useful toiletry items, tailored for both men and women. Due to popular demand, we added a hairbrush, and guests will find that the ever-popular color-coded toothbrushes are still there. Depending on the number of guests in a room, we provide the same number of toothbrushes for their convenience. However, as is our tradition, each toothbrush is a different color: white pink, yellow, blue or green. This makes it easy for groups staying together to know which toothbrush is theirs.

Previously, we offered our guests a handy package containing a toothbrush and rinse-in shampoo, but we decided to switch to something more substantial. Guests will now find citrus-scented shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. The moisturizing shampoo and conditioner contain thirteen types of vegetable oil, and the body soap includes hyaluronic acid to help keep skin soft in these winter months.

We also wanted to share this photo of the Wakuwaku bus that runs between Daiichi-Takimotokan and Sapporo Station. We were excited to see the Nippon Ham Fighters, one of Japan’s premier baseball teams, emblazoned across the sides. Go, Ham Fighters! We love winter here, but this reminded us of one of our favorite parts of Spring!
